Practice Areas
We have an integrated practice that utilizes the strengths we have developed in two challenging areas of law. While our civil practice may provide the occassional intellectual challenge, it pales in comparison to the daily rigors of representing clients under the arcane laws of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Conversely, immigration practice has historically been removed from court litigation. Our comfort and willingness to go to litigation in immigration matters (particularly in recent years) allows us additional opportunities to compete for beneficial outcomes with matters before the Department of Homeland Security and its client agency, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Civil Litigation
We provide representation for both plaintiffs and defendants involved in business litigation as well as personal injury. Our practice includes the representation of individuals, businesses, and insurance companies. We practice regularly in both State and Federal Courts.
Immigration
For more than 20 years we have provided businesses and individuals with counsel and representation in complex immigration matters. In the current hostile political climate towards immigration, our representation has increasingly involved litigation against the Department of Homeland Security.
Civil Appeals
Our representation does not end with the trial courts. We represent our clients before both state and federal Courts of Appeal.
Client Selection
We are law firm with a concentrated practice limited to Civil Litigation and Immigration matters. We do our best to regularly review the growth of our client rosters to ensure that we remain a small and effective law practice. There is no profit in a law practice supported by disastisfied clients. Accordingly, we review cases and clients to determine if we will be the most effective attorneys for the matter. You should know that while we may review your case in a consultation, we do not promise representation will follow. Our decision to accept a case for representation involves many considerations including our current and expected future case load, as well as the resources required to handle a particular matter. We will always be straightforward with you when evaluating your case for representation.
